3 Bodies Found Inside Detroit Home: Police

Police confirmed they are investigating the incident as a homicide.

DETROIT — Three bodies were found inside a Detroit home Wednesday, according to police.

Officers were called at 12:50 p.m. to a home on Edsel Street, near Fort Street and Outer Drive, on a missing person's report, according to police.

While officers were talking to the caller, another person approached them and said they had been assaulted inside a nearby home, according to police.

Officers went into that home and found three adult men beaten to death, according to police.

The bodies were wrapped in towels and carpeting in the basement of the home, WXYZ reported.

It's unclear if the missing person's report was connected to the bodies.
