Detroit Chef Kate Williams Joins Artisan at Delamar Traverse City for Summer Brunch Series

Artisan at Delamar Hotel Traverse City is bringing a notable culinary collaboration to Northern Michigan this summer, welcoming acclaimed Detroit chef Kate Williams for a weekend brunch series.

The restaurant announced that Williams, founder of the former James Beard–nominated Lady of the House, will join Executive Chef Sarah Bobier in the kitchen every Saturday and Sunday in July and August. The series will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Artisan, located inside the Delamar Hotel Traverse City at 615 E. Front St.

The collaboration pairs Williams’ ingredient-driven, soulful cooking style with Bobier’s focus on seasonal Northern Michigan cuisine. The result is expected to be a rotating brunch experience highlighting regional ingredients and elevated hospitality.

“Traverse City has always felt like a place where food and place are deeply connected, and that’s something I find incredibly inspiring,” Williams said. “Collaborating with Chef Sarah at Artisan this summer is a chance to play with the best of what Northern Michigan has to offer and to cook in a way that feels genuinely joyful.
