Hannan Center Names Antonia B. Harbin as Chief Operating Officer

Hannan Center has appointed Antonia B. Harbin, JD, MBA, as its new chief operating officer, bringing more than a decade of experience in elder law, senior services and nonprofit leadership to the organization.

In her new role, Harbin will oversee day-to-day operations, including program and service delivery, finance coordination, human resources, facilities and technology. She will also work closely with leadership to advance the organization’s mission of improving the quality of life for older adults across Detroit and southeast Michigan.

Harbin joins Hannan Center with a strong background in advocating for seniors, families and caregivers. Her work has focused on elder abuse prevention, housing stability and building collaborative service models that connect legal, health and social support systems.

Harbin said she is eager to support Hannan Center’s mission and strengthen services for the community.

Her multidisciplinary background includes experience in estate planning, elder law advocacy, senior housing law, grant development, program design and mediation. She is also known for building community partnerships and cross-sector collaborations to enhance services for older adults.

Harbin earned her Juris Doctor from Cooley Law School, a Master of Business Administration in management from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Michigan. She is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and serves as a court-approved mediator for Wayne County Probate Court and Oakland County Circuit Court.

She resides in Southfield.
