Detroit police Chief Todd Bettison gives update on fatal stabbing involving teen, talks Dearborn protest (clickondetroit.com) — Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison says a fatal east side stabbing involving a 17-year-old girl and her boyfriend stemmed from a domestic dispute, with the teen now in custody and no broader threat to residents. Detroit's Renaissance Center riverfront community hub opens for public input (wxyz.com) — Detroiters can now visit a new Riverfront Community Hub on Atwater Street to help shape the massive redesign of the Renaissance Center and 30 nearby acres. Open four days a week through February, the space lets residents learn about the project, vote on potential attractions, and talk directly with Bedrock Detroit and GM about what they want on their riverfront.
