ShotSpotter alerted officers, but police have not released suspect details and are asking anyone with information to contact Detroit police or Crime Stoppers.

TGI Friday shooting: Suspect released pending warrant approval from prosecutor's office (fox2detroit.com) — A Detroit man was among two bystanders wounded when gunfire broke out between two licensed gun owners in a Southfield TGI Fridays parking lot, killing an Inkster woman. The event was part of a Detroit police commissioner's biker bash, and investigators are still weighing charges while asking anyone with information to contact Southfield police or Crime Stoppers.

State Bar Presidential Inauguration & Awards Luncheon planned for Sept. 18 (legalnews.com) — Michigan attorneys and legal professionals are invited to the State Bar of Michigan's Presidential Inauguration & Awards Luncheon on Friday, Sept. 18 at the Detroit Marriott Troy.
