• City of Dexter: Notice of Public Hearing 9/28/26 (thesuntimesnews.com) — Dexter City Council will hold a public hearing on September 28 to consider changes to the city's special assessment ordinance, including a new process for single-lot assessments. Draft language is available at City Offices and online, and written comments are due by 5 p.m. on September 21.
   

• City of Dexter: Notice of Public Comment Period and Public Hearing (thesuntimesnews.com) — Dexter residents are invited to weigh in on the city's new 5‑Year Parks and Recreation Master Plan during a 30‑day comment period starting September 7, plus a public hearing on October 20 at City Hall and via Zoom. You can review the draft plan online or at the Broad Street offices and submit written feedback to the Assistant City Manager before the hearing.
   

• Dexter Twp: Notice of Planning Commission Public Hearing 9/22/26 (thesuntimesnews.com) — Dexter Township's Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on September 22 to overhaul how unlisted land uses are reviewed, including new impact criteria and an updated appeal process. Residents can review draft zoning changes at Township Hall or online and submit comments in person or by email before noon that day.
