• Dexter Twp: Notice of Registration for the General Election 11/3/26 (thesuntimesnews.com) — If you're a Dexter Township resident not yet registered to vote, you still have time before the November 3, 2026 general election, with online, mail, and in-person options available. The clerk's office on Dexter-Pinckney Road will also handle late in-person registrations, early voting, and ballot drop-offs, covering races from governor to local school boards and statewide proposals. 
• Dexter Twp. Addresses Concerns about UM land and Data Centers (thesuntimesnews.com) — Dexter Township is reassuring residents that University of Michigan land here, including Stinchfield Woods, is governed by long-standing deed restrictions focused on education and research, not data centers. Officials explain that changing UM's zoning immunity would require a supermajority in Lansing and a statewide vote, distinguishing this property from the separate data center proposal in Ypsilanti Township.
• Four scores, four ways: Chelsea football star torches biggest rival (mlive.com) — Dexter football fans saw their team fall 56-21 to rival Chelsea, despite a promising debut from sophomore quarterback Trey Penn, who threw three touchdown passes. Chelsea star Gibby Ichesco scored four different kinds of touchdowns in the first half, leaving Dexter at 2-3 as it looks to rebound at home against Temperance Bedford next week.
