Absolutely Abby: Free Job Seeker Seminar
Find out what HR recruiters look for when they are evaluating your qualifications and differentiate yourself.
Employment guru Abby Kohut, known in the job search world as Absolutely Abby, will share “Secrets HR Recruiters Don’t Want You to Know” at a free seminar on October 28 in Lathrup Village. Author of Absolutely Abby’s 101 Job Search Secrets, Kohut teaches job seekers what human resources recruiters look for when evaluating an applicant’s qualifications.
Participants will also learn secrets about key words; “magic” words for cover letters; what to say during a phone screen to get a “yes;” and the key to thank you letters.
The seminar, sponsored by JVS, will be held from 9:30-11 am on Wednesday, October 28 at Michigan First Credit Union, 27000 Evergreen Rd., Lathrup Village. Pre-registration is not required. Register at the event beginning at 9 a.m. Download the flyer.
