AT&T Opens New Authorized Retailer Store in Farmington

New store on Farmington Road provides mobile lifestyle options in convenient location.

AT&T held a grand opening Saturday for its new authorized retailer store in Farmington, designed to meet the growing needs of local customers. The store offers options for the latest devices, accessories, and services.

It is owned and operated by Pagetec Wireless, Inc., and located at 23328 Farmington Road, in the same strip as the U.S. Post Office.

“AT&T continues to invest in Michigan,” said Jim Murray, president, AT&T Michigan. “This new store in Farmington, and ones like it in neighboring communities, better connects residents with the devices and services they are asking for.”

Over the past 6 years (2009 to 2014), AT&T invested nearly $140 billion including investments in its wireless and wireline networks and acquisitions of wireless spectrum and operations. Since 2009, AT&T has invested more in the U.S. than any other public company. In a 2014 report, the Progressive Policy Institute ranked AT&T No. 1 on its list of U.S. “Investment Heroes.”

AT&T has 58 company owned stores in Michigan and also sells its products and services in authorized retailer locations and select national retail stores.

“Our goal is to provide an exceptional experience in every interaction. That starts with conveniently located stores,” said Brian Ducharme, vice president/general manager for AT&T in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. “Customers want the latest apps, services, devices, and accessories to mirror their mobile lifestyles. They now have another great location to find the right solution.”
