Farmington Hills Holds 41st Annual Awards Ceremony
Farmington Hills held its 41st Annual Awards Ceremony to honor dedicated employees that have upheld the traditions of community service.
From The City of Farmington Hills: On Monday, January 23, the City of Farmington Hills held its 41st Annual Recognition Awards Ceremony to honor outstanding employees for 2016. The event provides a forum for the City to show appreciation to dedicated employees who put forth special effort and uphold the tradition of excellent service to the community.
The outstanding employees were nominated by co-workers who considered the following criteria - outstanding job performance, service to the public, rapport with co-workers, and positive contributions to their department and the City. One employee was named Employee of the Year and five employees were named Outstanding Employees for 2016. The event also honored the 2016 Police Officer of the Year and the 2016 Fire Fighter of the Year.

- Khalfani Stephens, Economic Development Director, City Manager’s Office
- Vianney Wilson, Department Aide, Human Resources Department

Recognition was also given to the 93 employees who celebrated significant service anniversaries ranging from five to 30 years with the City of Farmington Hills.
