IN BRIEF: North Farmington and Farmington win in boys hoops
Harrison falls to Southfield-Lathrup by 20 points.
Local boys’ basketball teams went 2-for-3 in hoops action on Tuesday night.
North Farmington improved to 9-1 overall and 4-0 in the OAA Red division with a convincing 59-42 road victory over Oak Park. Dorrell Foster scored 16 points and Urbane Bingham had 14 to lead the Raiders to the win.
Farmington evened its divisional record in the OAA Blue at 2-2 (4-5 overall) with a 59-54 victory over Birmingham Groves. Anthony Rutledge led the scoring attack for the Falcons with 18 points. The Hare brothers, Blake and Chris, scored 10 points apiece in the back-and-forth affair.

Harrison wasn’t so lucky in a 20-point loss at home to Southfield-Lathrup. Jonathan Williams scored 16 points to lead the Chargers (4-4, 1-3 OAA Red) to the victory. D-Marco Redd scored 15, and Carlos Eubanks added 12 for the Hawks (3-6 overall).
