Kids Model Recycled Fashions at Farmington Library
The original creations were made from newspaper, ribbon, tissue and duct tape.
Rows of tables covered with newspaper, tissue, wrapping paper, ribbon and several kinds of tape provided an afternoon of fun and fashion at the in Farmington Hills Wednesday.
Kids were invited to use their imaginations to create one-of-a-kind recycled fashions, under the helpful guidance of parents, children's librarian Patricia Ballard and assistant Tamie Bird. Styles ranged from skirts hooked with paper clips to an animal print poncho and even a pair of paper sandals.
