• White enrollment at Tri County Educational Center was 18 in 2024-25 (seoaklandnews.com) — Ferndale families may notice shifting demographics at Tri County Educational Center, where white enrollment fell to 18 students, just over 5% of the student body in 2024-25. The school, part of Ferndale Public Schools, remains predominantly African American while district data show Ferndale Lower Elementary with the highest white enrollment. Statewide, overall student numbers and white enrollment have also declined since before the pandemic.
