Join us on Wednesday, November 5th at the Woods Branch of the Grosse Pointe Public Library for a Skype chat with Gabrielle Zevin, the author of The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry. Doors open at 6:30 for raffle prize registration and Skype program will begin at 7 pm. Book clubs are encouraged to read the book before the program. Seating is limited so be sure to call Tel: 313.343.2074 x 204 to reserve your spot.

A recent National Public Radio program said this about the book:

Thirty-nine year old widower A.J. Fikry is an unlikely romantic hero: He’s cranky, he drinks too much, his bookstore is failing and don’t get him started on the state of publishing. He’s also at the center of Gabrielle Zevin’s new novel, The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry.
