AutoZone Revved Up to Serve Macomb's Vehicle Needs
Moving into the long-vacant storefront on the southeast corner of 21 Mile and Romeo Plank roads, AutoZone opened for business Aug. 26.

Drivers passing the southeast corner of Romeo Plank and 21 Mile roads can't miss the bright orange building decor designating the new home of AutoZone.
The Macomb Township location of the "No. 1 auto parts retailer in America," according to the AutoZone website, opened its doors Aug. 26 and will host an official "grand opening" celebration in a few weeks. However, the date for this event has not been set.
There are six employees currently working at the store with additional hires planned for the future.

Like other AutoZone locations, the store offers these services free of charge:
- Loan-a-tool
- Testing on starters, alternators, batteries, ignition and control modules
- Battery charging
- "Check Engine Light" help
The store is open Monday-Saturday, 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
