AutoZone to Move Into Long-Vacant Romeo Plank Storefront

Macomb Township's first AutoZone store is on its way to the southeast corner of 21 Mile and Romeo Plank roads.

The former location of Movie Gallery, the storefront at 46922 Romeo Plank Road has been vacant for several months, but is now home to the "No. 1 auto parts retailer in America," according to the AutoZone website.

While the AutoZone logo is up on the building and on the River Park Plaza marquee, interior renovations continue.

The opening date for this location is unknown.

AutoZone sells auto and light truck parts, chemicals and accessories in more than 4,000 AutoZone stores across the U.S.
