We're willing to go head-to-head with mom on this one and argue dinner doesn't always have to be of the meat and potatoes variety.

While not everyone may understand the fascination of watching singing scoopers create speciality ice cream concoctions with metal paddles on a marble slab, the Cold Stone Creamery faithful could not see it any other way.

Greatest Dish Ever: This could be the most controversial statement to ever be made on Macomb Patch, but our taste buds have to pay deference to Germanchökolätekäke. Chocolate ice cream, coconut, brownie, pecans and caramel combine to make a decadent scoop of mouth-watering heaven.

Don't Miss: Birthday Cake Remix. Featuring cake batter ice cream (a crowd favorite), this signature selection loads brownies, rainbow sprinkles and fudge into a taste memory right out of your childhood. In the words of Chef Emeril Lagasse, "Let's kick it up a notch!" Go one better on this classic and get it in a waffle cup.

The Vibe: A taste for everyone. Cold Stone is your standard ice cream store. It's the flavors that are unique. Sure you can order plain chocolate or vanilla, but if you want lemon poppy seed ice cream with caramel swirls, Reese's Pieces and Nilla Wafers, that's cool, too. The possibilities are endless.

Cool Factor: When you tip the ladies and gents behind the counter, they sing old favorites retrofitted with ice cream adjectives.
