"Lauren has worked all winter in the weight room and running on the indoor track," said Dakota track coach Mike Timpa. "She is a respectful young lady and deserves recognition."
This is Burnett's second year on the varsity team. She also ran cross country last fall. This season she is running the 4x800 meter, 4x400 meter and 4x200 meter relays for the Cougars.
