The single most pressing issue facing our district or state is ___________, and this is what I intend to do about it

The most pressing issue facing our district is the rising cost of living and the disconnect between Washington and working families. I see it every day in my own life and in the people I work with. Families are working hard but falling behind. In Congress, I will focus on reducing the cost burden on families by supporting pro-growth policies, cutting unnecessary federal spending, and bringing accountability back to how taxpayer dollars are used. We need leadership that understands real life and is focused on practical results, not political games.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

The biggest difference is that I bring a background that no other candidate in this race has. I am the only candidate who is a working professional, the only candidate raising four children, and the only combat veteran in the race. I am also the only candidate who has been directly responsible for managing projects involving millions of dollars, where decisions have real consequences and accountability is required every day. I am not coming from a political background. I am coming from real life, where results matter, people depend on you, and you are held accountable for what you deliver. That perspective is what I will bring to Congress.

If you support tax cuts in Michigan, what spending should be eliminated to offset those cuts? Please be specific.

I support responsible tax cuts, but they must be paired with spending discipline. That starts with cutting waste, duplication, and programs that are not delivering results for taxpayers. We should take a hard look at administrative bloat, unnecessary federal grants that lack accountability, and spending that does not directly benefit American families. At the same time, we need to prioritize core functions like infrastructure, national security, and services for veterans. The goal should be simple: spend taxpayer dollars more effectively, eliminate waste, and allow families to keep more of what they earn.

Do you believe an inequity exists between funding for wealthy and poor schools? If so, what would you do to address the disparity?

There are real differences between school districts, especially when it comes to facilities and resources. I see that firsthand through my work building K–12 schools. Some communities have access to newer, better-equipped buildings, while others are trying to make do with outdated infrastructure. I believe every student deserves a safe, functional learning environment. We should focus on directing resources where they are needed most, improving transparency in how funds are used, and cutting waste so more dollars actually reach classrooms. At the same time, we need to respect local control and make sure funding decisions are accountable to the communities they serve.

What would you do to help constituents struggling with the ever-increasing cost of living, housing and healthcare?

The rising cost of living is one of the biggest challenges families are facing right now. I see it in my own life raising four kids and hear it from people I work with every day.
We need to focus on lowering costs by addressing inflation, cutting unnecessary federal spending, and supporting policies that actually grow the economy and increase wages. For housing, that means reducing barriers to building and
increasing supply so prices can stabilize. For healthcare, we need more transparency and competition so families have more options and lower costs. At the end of the day, people are not asking for handouts. They want to be able to work, provide for their families, and get ahead. That should be the goal.

Do you support redistricting in a non-census year?

No. Redistricting should follow a consistent, transparent process tied to the census so that it is fair and not driven by politics in off years.

Do you support the full release of the Epstein files with the victims' names redacted? What should Congress do to pressure the DOJ into following the law with the full release of the Epstein files?

I support transparency and accountability, especially in cases this serious. Any release of documents should protect victims by ensuring their identities are fully redacted, while still making relevant information available to the public.
Congress has a responsibility to provide oversight of the Department of Justice and ensure the law is followed. That includes using hearings, subpoenas, and proper oversight tools to make sure the process is handled appropriately and
transparently. The focus should be on justice, protecting victims, and restoring public trust in our institutions.

Where do you agree and disagree with President Donald Trump on policy?

Like many people, there have been moments where I have not fully agreed with a decision at first. But I have also seen that leadership requires a broader view, and in many cases, those decisions proved to be the right ones over time. At the same time, my responsibility is to the people of Michigan’s 10th District. If elected, my job is to represent them and fight for their interests. That means listening to the people here at home and making sure their voices are reflected in
Washington. Putting America first and delivering results for MI-10 is how I will approach this role.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am running because I believe our government should reflect the people it represents. I am a working professional, a husband, and a father of four. I understand the pressures families are facing because I live them every day. I have built a career managing real responsibility, leading teams, and delivering results where accountability matters. I bring that same mindset to this race. I am not a career politician. I am someone who has served, worked, and raised a family in this community, and I want to make sure our government starts working better for the people who actually live here.
