Spirit Stops in Macomb to Award 20,000 Frequent Flyer Miles to First 500 Travelers

Spirit Airlines soared into Macomb Township Tuesday to pass out travel vouchers worth 20,000 frequent flyer miles to the first 500 travelers to visit their temporary location at 22 Mile and Romeo Plank.

Spirit representatives will start handing out the vouchers at noon and will continue until 2 p.m., or until all 500 have been distributed.

The only rule is you must be 18 years or older to receive a voucher. 

The frequent flyer miles are good for one adult roundtrip ticket to one of 14 cities throughout the U.S., with taxes and fees from $5 per roundtrip.

Recipients of the vouchers must claim their miles within seven days and book their trip sometime during the month of July.

Macomb was the only stop Spirit Airlines made in Michigan on its 30-site tour of the western U.S.
