Summer Milk Shake Tour: Win A Mini Ice Cream Social!

For the past few weeks, I've been acting as the guide on this , and asking you to follow my gastronomical adventures from afar.

It's been a fantastic journey, but I have a hunch these treats will taste better in the company of friends.

So here's what we're going to do. Tell us what local ice cream shop you love and share the treat you crave in the comments below. Patch will randomly select one of the posts and treat that person (and three friends or family members) to a mini ice cream social.

The rules of entry are simple. Post your favorite shop and treat in the comments below by 5 p.m. on July 19 and at 5:01 p.m., we'll select one person to win the ice cream social for four.

The winners will be notified on July 20 and Patch will work with the winner to set up the time and place for the social.

Here are the official rules:

• Must be a U.S. and Macomb Township resident
• Must be 18 years or older
• Posts will be accepted through 5 p.m. July 19
• One post per individual entry
• The winning poster can bring up to three friends to join them at the social.
