Canton Detective Completes Command School

Sgt. Daniel Taylor, 23-year veteran, currently works in Canton Detective Bureau.

(Posted Nov. 11, 2016) CANTON, MI – Canton Police Detective Sgt. Daniel Traylor has successfully completed Eastern Michigan University's Police Staff & Command School, a mandatory training for all of Canton's command officers, The Canton Observer reported. The 360-hour, problem-based program is focused on the management, planning, analysis and administration of police departments and their personnel.

Taylor joined the Canton Police Department 23 years ago and is currently assigned to its detective bureau, where he supervises seven detectives, four ordinance offers and a crime data analyst.
