In our Twaddler Classroom today, we are making marks on paper with pencil crayons that will count as our early step to learning to read and write and language development. Our little Twaddlers are making marks and learning that marks represent things by talking through it with friends and their teachers. They are practicing their fine motor skills and becoming independent with having the freedom to make choices and create something on their own which promotes the development of independent thinking.
