Hockey Game Benefits Yellow Ribbon Fund

Tthe Michigan Hometown Heroes will play Oakland University’s Hockey Team at The in Rochester as a benefit for the Yellow Ribbon Fund.

Red Wings Hockey Legend Alex Delvecchio will be dropping the ceremonial puck and will also be on hand to sign autographs at a post-game party at the . Mayor Jeff Cuthbertson will present the welcoming remarks. During the First Intermission there will be a special tribute to local Soldiers set to deploy in late July, 2011 to Afghanistan. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, and a drawing for an IPad will be held at the post-game party.

The Yellow Ribbon Fund was created to provide support for injured service personnel returning home and being treated at military hospitals. Tickets to the hockey game are $10 apiece.
