• E-Bike Rider Seriously Hurt In Crash With Pickup Truck In Rochester Hills: Sheriff (patch.com) — A Rochester Hills man riding an electric motorcycle was seriously injured Tuesday morning after a pickup truck allegedly ran a red light on West Avon Road near Old Perch Road. Oakland County sheriff's officials say the unregistered e-motorcycle was not legally allowed on the sidewalk or road, and the incident has renewed calls for clearer state rules on where and how e-bikes and e-motos can be used around Rochester.
