Oakland Youth Orchestras’ Spring Concert will take place on May 1, 2014 at 6:30 pm at the Oxford Fine Arts Center, located at Oxford High School, 745 N. Oxford Road in Oxford, MI.
Celebrating its 39th season, Oakland Youth Orchestras will showcase its four orchestras which include a roster of nearly 350 students from Southeast Michigan. Violinist Nikolas Simon, winner of the 2014 OYO Solo String Orchestra Competition, will perform with the String Orchestra, and cellist Andrew Romano, winner of the 2014 OYO Solo Studio String Orchestra Competition, will perform with the Studio String Orchestra.
Tickets will be available at the door: Adults - $10, children and students - $5 and ticket quartets (four tickets) - $30.
