Local volunteer Jeanne Keene is attempting to place 10 cats in local homes.
Keene, who parted ways with a local cat rescue, is trying to place a total of 35 cats she was fostering.
Keene said the 10 remaining cats are spayed or neutered, FELV/FIV negative and up to date on their vaccines. They are not micro-chipped.

There is no fee to adopt the cats.
"I want them to go to a home and not a shelter," said Keene, who would like to have the cats placed in a home by Tuesday night.
