ROSEVILLE, Mich., (April 24, 2013) – Christian Financial Credit Union (CFCU) will send three area high school seniors and college students back to school this fall with college scholarship dollars in the “Take CFCU 2 Your U” scholarship contest.

To apply, students must take a photo that represents how they plan to take their CFCU account with them to school in the fall, upload the photo to Instagram and tag the CFCU Instagram account (@christianfinancialcu) with the hashtag #TakeCF2U in the caption. The student should then describe in the caption in one or two sentences how they plan to take their CFCU account with them to school in the fall. The top photo will win a $1,000 college scholarship and the next two runner-up winners will each receive a $500 scholarship.
Christian Financial Credit Union is a member of the nationwide CU Service Center network. This relationship allows members of CFCU to utilize the services of more than 5,000 credit unions across the country, including many on college campuses, as if they were in a CFCU branch. In addition, CFCU is a member of the CO-OP Network, meaning that members can use more than 28,000 fee-free ATMs nationwide. These services provide greater convenience and access to accounts, allowing students to take their CFCU accounts with them to college in the fall.
The Take CFCU 2 Your U scholarship is open to all members enrolled full-time in a college or university in fall 2013. All photos and applications will be reviewed by a committee and judged based on photo content, accuracy, quality and creativity. Funds can be used to pay for any college-related expenses. The deadline to apply for scholarships is May 31, 2013.
All applicants must be a member of Christian Financial Credit Union to qualify for the scholarships. Interested applicants who are not current members can also apply for membership at the same time they submit an application. More information is available at www.christianfinancialcu.org.
After posting the photo, entrants should submit a completed application form, available online at christianfinancialcu.org.
