URGENT—PLEASE SAVE SAMARITAN!!!

“Go and do likewise” it says in the parable of the Good Samaritan.

This is exactly what one man did on I-94 near Cadieux when he spied a small dog cowering at the side of the road as cars whizzed by at 70 to 80 mph.

Thus, this Good Samaritan pulled over and scooped up the dog, taking him out of harm’s way.

The dog, a senior beagle, “definitely has guardian angels watching over him!” says Michelle, of A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue, especially since he is blind.

But little “Samaritan’s” battle to survive is far from over—the person who is caring for him in Detroit can only keep him until Wednesday at the latest.

A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue will gladly take him if a foster home can be found.

Therefore, this is an URGENT plea to anyone who can FOSTER, RESCUE, or ADOPT this sweet little guy.

Perhaps you have a dog that could use a companion. A sighted and blind dog can become inspiring, inseparable friends. Or maybe you have overcome some challenges in your life and can relate to his situation.

Whatever the reason, don’t let the cruel actions of the person who dumped him on the side of the road rob him of his future and the chance to live out the rest of his life in a loving home.

Let "Samaritan" see that others in the world do care..that, like in the parable, “when he saw him, he took pity on him…and brought him to an inn and took care of him.”

Sadly, if another Good Samaritan doesn’t step forward ASAP, little “Samaritan” will go to Detroit Animal Control.

If you can help, PLEASE call or text Michelle at 586-944-7210. And please spread the word.

Really make a difference this holiday season: “Go and do likewise.”
