BRIGHT SIDE DENTAL OFFERS TWO $500 SCHOLARSHIPS TO MICHIGAN STUDENTS

Bright Side Dental, a local Metro Detroit based dental group, will award two Michigan students with $500 scholarships that can be applied toward college expenses.

Applicants must be a graduating senior with a 3.0 cumulative grade point average or higher and be involved in extracurricular activities. Qualified applicants will live within Bright Side Dental service areas: Sterling Heights, Royal Oak, Livonia, St. Clair Shores, Canton, and Southfield.

Each applicant must complete a one page essay on the topic: If you were going into the dental profession, what do you think the best personal qualities of a dentist should be and what would you do to make your patients feel comfortable?

Essays will be judged by a panel of dental health professionals and will be based upon the students ability to write standard English, the quality of ideas presented, and the extent of relevant examples that are included.

Essays must be submitted by April 30th 2013.
