Justice for Lexie and Brittany Preston

Does anyone have a point of contact for Brittany Preston?  I have been trying to find her in order to offer her my help --such as giving her money to support a lawsuit against the police department or the officer that shot her pet dog. How can it be legal for the police to come onto a law abiding citizens property and discharge their weapon numerous times to kill the law abiding citizens pet dog?  The grandfather (who suffers from dementia) witnessed this terrible violence.  He must have been terrorized by the experience.  Will this experience cause him any lasting suffering?
