"We take any threat made by a juvenile at school very seriously," Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido said. "Such actions not only endanger the safety of the student but also disrupt the entire educational environment. Our priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, and we will vigorously pursue consequences to stop such behavior."
In a separate Warren incident, an 11-year-old girl was arrested Monday after Carter Middle School officials found a "death list" with multiple students' names that the girl had written, according to police.
Officials suspended the girl, who is now waiting for a mental health exam, according to police.
The girl's mother immediately responded to the school and is cooperating with the investigation, according to police.
