Police Investigate Reports of Thefts From Vehicles

St. Clair Shores police are investigating a string of thefts from unlocked vehicles in the city.

St. Clair Shores police are investigating reports of a string of thefts from unlocked cars.

Reported thefts include:

  • Cigarettes, bank and credit card were reportedly stolen Sept. 19 from an unlocked truck parked in the driveway of a home in the 21600 block of Statler. At least three other cars were entered along Statler, although nothing appeared to be taken, according to police reports.
  • Money was reportedly stolen Sept. 19 from an unlocked car on the 21800 block of Bon Brae.
  • Tools, loose coins, and gift cards were reportedly taken Sept. 19 from two vehicles parked in the driveway of a home in the 21600 block of Statler.
  • Police are also investigating reports of thefts from cars on Ursuline, Bestie, Statler and Jefferson
