The key point here is this: Medicines like Ozempic (semaglutide) are not causing this condition of facial aging, aka 'Ozempic Face.' Rather, sudden and large amounts of weight loss can lead to some skin laxity, and this, in turn, gives the appearance that your face has suddenly aged.

So, if you lose (30-60 lbs) in a very short period of time--usually within 2-3 months--you're likely to see some changes in your skin's composition.
