Feds seek $18.8M from Quality Behavioral Health in Medicaid fraud case (beckersbehavioralhealth.com) — Federal investigators seized nearly $18.8 million from Quality Behavioral Health and its CEO, including cash found at both his Troy home and the nonprofit's Troy location, amid an ongoing Medicaid fraud probe. Prosecutors allege false billing and exploitative work conditions for patients, while the CEO's attorney stresses the claims remain only allegations as the civil forfeiture case proceeds.
