Body Of Missing Minnesota Woman Found

Authorities found no signs of trauma, assault or homicidal violence.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MN — The body of a Minnesota woman who went missing last month has been found in Cloquet, according to authorities. Wahbinmigisi "Pennie" Robertson was reported missing on May 28. She was last seen on Mahnomen Road on May 24.

Family and community members had conducted searches and reached out to the news media and social media for assistance. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office was notified of the investigation and began assisting Fond du Lac police Friday.

After her body was found, an autopsy was conducted by the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office in Anoka County. The preliminary cause of death was determined to be "hanging." The manner of her death is still under investigation.

The case remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac Police Department and the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
