TWIN CITIES, MN — Central Minnesota will see relatively cool to chilly temperatures this week as we head into the first days of September. The Twin Cities will see varying chances for rain from Wednesday night through Sunday.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the morning.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59. Calm wind.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the morning.
Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 58. East wind around 5 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 77. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers after 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 60. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Thursday: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 73. South southeast wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Thursday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
