Crawford-Tufts Injured At Sectional Track Prelims

Devin Crawford-Tufts, the defending state Class AA champion in both the 100- and 200-meter dash events, re-injured his hamstring competing in the 100 at the Section 6AA preliminary meet at Hopkins High School on Wednesday afternoon.

Crawford-Tufts, who missed the Lake Conference championship meet on May 17 and has run a limited schedule this spring while being dogged by the sore hamstring.

The senior, who also starred on the gridiron for the Hornets, is a University of Minnesota football recruit.
