God, Cancer, and Evolution Lecture 1

Dr. Leonard Hummel from the Lutheran Theologcial Seminary at Gettysburg will present talks on the theme of "Chance, Neccesity, Love: An Evolutionary Theology of Cancer."  The first talk will be at Adult Forum between services on Sunday morning.  The second lecture is on Sunday Evening at 6:30 p.m.  His 2 presentations will focus on how we may talk about God given that cncer is a phenomenon of biological evolution.  Hummerl will also then suggest that an understanding of evolutionary theory may be helfpul for a suffering world - and a church that cares about that suffering.
