Friends and family came out in droves for the commencement ceremony at Target Center.
Seniors officially became graduates on Tuesday night, as held its commencement ceremony for the Class of 2011 at Target Center in Minneapolis.
Friends and family members of EHS graduates filled half of the lower bowl of the arena in support of the students, who saw their years of hard work come to fruition with congratulations and diplomas.
The graduates were addressed by Superintendent of Edina Public Schools Ric Dressen, EHS social studies teacher Jason Szporn, students Christina Kosters and Emily Nielsen, as well as EHS Principal Bruce Locklear, who presented the class for graduation.

Accepting the graduates before the diplomas were awarded and congratulations conferred were Edina Board of Education Chair Randy Meyer and Clerk Bert Ledder.
A tossing of the caps made it official, as the Class of 2011 departed Target Center en route to the senior class party and wherever the future leads from there.
