(PHOTOS) Edina Cross Country Competes at Victoria Lions Invite

Strong showing for both the boys and girls, with fifth place team finishes.

The  cross country team traveled to Chaska to compete in the Victoria Lions Invite Tuesday afternoon. The invite had a total of 24 teams at the varsity level.

The Edina boys and girls both placed fifth in the team competitions. Their were 166 competitors in the boys race and 163 in the girls race.

  • Luke Lumbar placed 31st (16:47.7)

  • Austin Barr placed 43rd (17:06.4)
  • Matthew Berntson placed 46th (17:09.0)
