The Edina girls tennis team traveled to Shakopee on Wednesday and decisively defeated its opponents.

Temperatures rose to the upper 80s, but the Lady Hornets kept their cool and played solid tennis on the courts. The Edina team will next play Blake on Wednesday, Sept. 7.
