'Something for Everyone' at 39th Annual Current Jam

The 2012 iteration of the yearly musical extravaganza features harmonica, beat boxing and nun costumes.

This spring's 39th annual Current Jam concert has "something for everyone," according to Dr. David Henderson, 's Concert and Mixed Choir Director.

The concert is composed of Concert Choir and Men's Chorus members, featuring a variety of solos and choir numbers with choreography. Some highlights of this year's Current Jam include harmonica, beat boxing and nun costumes. The solo acts performed in the show were put together by the students themselves, from finding arrangements of the songs they want to perform to locating instrumentalists and rehearsing.

"Current Jam has been a fun way to explore a new side of the music world," said Concert Choir member Sarah Steffen. "It is also exciting to hear all of the talent in the choir which might be overlooked in the traditional choir setting."
