• Hastings City Council Addresses Fentanyl Awareness, Data Center Moratorium, and Environmental Litigation – KDWA 1460 AM & FM 97.7 (kdwa.com) — Hastings City Council has declared August a month for overdose and fentanyl awareness, noting four local deaths in the past year, and approved a one-year moratorium on new data centers while staff study impacts. Councilors also advanced a major water service line replacement project and authorized outside legal counsel to begin environmental litigation on the city's behalf.
