MINNESOTA — Minnesota is home to the No. 15 school system in the nation, according to a new study.

WalletHub compared all school systems of the 50 states and the District of Columbia across metrics related to "quality" and "safety." Minnesota scored an "11" in quality and a "36" in safety in the report.

State neighbor North Dakota was ranked No. 8, and Wisconsin was slotted at No. 10. Iowa was placed at No. 19, and South Dakota was ranked No. 26.
