Target Down: Hilarious Tweets Document Shopping 'Armageddon'
Target stores across the globe Saturday were thrown into chaos as registers went down, preventing customers from buying anything.

MINNEAPOLIS — Target registers are back online after a global outage Saturday that created a shopping "Armageddon," preventing customers from purchasing any items at stores for about two hours. In an emailed statement, Target said the temporary outage was because of an internal technology issue.
The company also said the outage was not a data breach or a security-related issue and no guest information was compromised.
