Angie Craig Has Edge Over Woodbury's Jason Lewis in Race for Congress
Analysts believe the race between Angie Craig and Jason Lewis in Minnesota's 2nd Congressional District will be decided by a slim margin.

Minnesota's 2nd Congressional District is seeing one of the most competitive races in the country this election cycle.
The race is between Democratic nominee Angie Craig, of Eagan, and Republican nominee Jason Lewis, of Woodbury. The candidates are hoping to be the one to replace outgoing incumbent Rep. John Kline, who's held the seat since 2003.
Lewis is a former conservative radio talk show host. Craig has worked as the vice president of corporate relations for St. Paul-based St. Jude Medical.

While the district has gone Republican for many years, analysts say Craig currently has a slight edge over Lewis. The Cook Political Report currently lists the race as leaning Democratic.
Craig, who received the Democratic nomination in January, was able to gain a large advantage over Lewis in fundraising and time spent on the campaign trail.

The race has already seen blistering attacks from both sides, with Craig criticizing Lewis for calling young women "non-thinking" and saying that he has "twisted logic on slavery" while Lewis constantly references his opponent as "radical liberal Angie Craig."
Analysts believe the race between Craig and Lewis will be decided by a slim margin.
According to Roll Call, Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District is crucial to deciding which party will control the U.S. House after the November election.
