Never Forget Ceremony Takes Place In Missoula (fairfieldsuntimes.com) — Missoula residents are gathering tonight at Rose Memorial Garden Park for the 25th annual Never Forget ceremony honoring 9/11 victims, first responders, and fallen military members. Thousands of flags will be placed starting at 6 p.m., followed by an honor guard procession and speakers from 7 to 8 p.m., with families encouraged to participate rain or shine.

Missoula Native MARIS Brings LA Success Back To The Top Hat On November 10 (missoulacurrent.com) — A Missoula-born singer-songwriter, MARIS, is returning from Los Angeles for an intimate show at the Top Hat in downtown Missoula on November 10. With her national buzz and high-energy performances, this may be one of your last chances to see her in such a small local venue, and tickets are already available through Logjam Presents.

KPAX Missoula Area Weather: Rain & gusty wind at times on Sunday; cooler Monday (kpax.com) — Expect changing weather around Missoula today as a new storm brings rain showers, possible thunderstorms, and high-elevation snow across western and northern Montana. Strong winds, Red Flag conditions in parts of southwest Montana, and below-average temperatures Monday will give way to brighter, gradually warmer weather by Tuesday through Thursday, with another round of rain possible later next week.

Montana Officials Warning Public About New Fentanyl Powder (ksenam.com) — Missoula just hosted a statewide Opioid Overdose Prevention Summit where Montana officials warned that fentanyl is increasingly appearing as an unpredictable powder rather than pressed pills. Law enforcement, health workers, educators, and affected families gathered to share strategies for reaching kids early, understanding overdose risks, and coordinating prevention efforts so communities can better recognize and respond to dangerous drugs circulating in the state.
   

5. Gillman scores 3 times, ties record as Montana defeats Utah Tech 35-14 (hebervalleyradio.com) — Montana Grizzlies fans in Missoula saw a big milestone Saturday as Eli Gillman tied the Big Sky record with his 56th rushing touchdown and set a new school mark for total TDs in a 35-14 win over Utah Tech. The Griz offense piled up 462 yards at Washington–Grizzly Stadium, staying unbeaten before heading to Oregon State next weekend.
