• New certification recognizes Phelps County employers who support working families (ruralradio.com) — Phelps County employers can now apply for the new Family-Friendly Workplace-37 certification, created by Holdrege-based partners to recognize businesses that support working families. Local organizations, including the Holdrege Area Early Childhood Partnership and Chamber of Commerce, are backing the effort, which offers recognition, marketing tools, and incentives for improving family-friendly policies. Applications are open now with modest fees for small and large employers.
