• North Omaha residents get a seat at the table in Highway 75 study funded by $1.5M federal grant (3newsnow.com) — North Omaha residents are being invited to help shape the future of Highway 75 through a new $1.5 million federal Reconnecting Communities grant, plus local city funding. The Metropolitan Area Planning Agency and partners like One Omaha will lead a community-driven study focused on repairing past harms and preserving neighborhood culture as future changes are planned.
   

• Hundreds walk at Werner Park for breast cancer awareness (wowt.com) — Two Omaha breast cancer survivors shared powerful stories at the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk at Werner Park, highlighting how faith, family, and friends carried them through treatment. They now return each year to support others facing diagnosis and emphasize the life-saving importance of regular screenings and at-home breast exams for women across the Omaha area.
